You'd like to have a very special badge? Then you've come to the right place. Here I'll tell you a little more about how exactly this works.

I distinguish between two types of specials: your product proposal and your custom-made product. What the difference is, you can read in the next step.

What is the difference between product proposal and custom-made product?

First of all, a brief overview of the criteria, which may already help you with orientation:

Imagine you are looking for a tin badge that shows a special motif, for example a swan. Although you have ideas about what the badge could look like, you are also flexible. For you, the badge does not have to be exclusive, it is completely okay if other people also want to sew this badge on their clothes.

Does that suit you? Then let's talk about your proposal for a new product in my shop. Who knows, maybe your idea is exactly what is missing in my shop. Some of the badges in the shop were created in this way.

If I make your badge as a product suggestion, it means for you:

• You will find the basic motif you are looking for.
• With your suggestion, you influence what this badge will look like.
• When the badge is ready, it will be added to my shop's assortment. I will inform you and you can order it via the usual way.
• There are no additional costs for molding and manufacturing.
  

Requirements for your product proposal:

You should know: The production of tin badges only pays off from larger quantities and of course, in order for MIBERO to exist, it must pay off. A badge must be sold a few times to cover the manufacturing costs. Therefore, there are three prerequisites for manufacturing as a product proposal:

• You do not want an exclusive badge but the result can also be ordered by everyone else.

• The badge is "general enough" so that other people can also use with it.

• The badge must match my assortment and for me it must be likely that this badge will sell more often.

Examples

These badges for example were product proposals which made their way into the online shop.

Imagine a very special motif for you or your group, in a limited number of pieces - perhaps a special faith symbol, a coat of arms or something similar. Because the motif is so individual or your very own design, other people should not or can not wear it under any circumstances. Then it's clear: You won't find something so special in a normal shop. Let's talk about a custom-made product.

If I make your badge custom-made, it means for you:

• You will find exactly the motif you are looking for

• We talk about the possibilities of design, you make the decisions.

• The badge will not be available in the shop, you will receive a mould number that only we both know. You can use them to order further badges later.

• Because the number of pieces will be limited, I also charge something for the working time when designing the badge (only if you can't give me a template and I should also do the creative preparatory work), modeling and creating the mould
  

 
Requirements for your custom-made product:

• Your wish must simply be feasible - and we will talk about this in advance.

How much does a custom-made product cost?

The custom-made product is divided into three products in the shop. The reason for this is quite simple: For me, it is fair and transparent if you only pay for what you really need:

• Some already have a finished design that they want to be done - for others I do the creative preparatory work, with which I also spend some time.

• Some want to do the casting themselves and only need help with modeling and production of the mold. 

As you can see, the price depends individually on your needs, the corresponding time and material expenditure. Here is a brief overview:

1.) Creative preparatory work (design and drawing): 20,00 EUR
Only if you can't provide me with a design that you want to implement as exactly as possible. I make drawings and corrections for you according to your wishes.

2.) Modeling and creating form: 45,00 - 65,00 EUR (depending on time and material expenditure see below)
I model your badge in consultation with you and create a mold made of heat-resistant silicone (suitable silicone for tin casting). The price depends on the effort:
- Bronze: Usual badge (back smooth, front relief): 45,00 EUR
- Silver: Increased effort (e.B. very small, labor-intensive models, various materials, etc.): 55,00 EUR

- Gold: Special effort (e.B. very labor-intensive models, 3D models with two-part forms, etc.): 65,00 EUR

3.) Make casts: 6,50 EUR - 9,00 EUR per piece
- Bronze: 6,50 EUR per piece (badges up to max. 30 grams)
- Silver: 8,00 EUR per piece (badges over 30 grams to 50 grams)
- Gold: 9,00 EUR per piece (badges over 50 grams)

Here is an example calculation:

We assume that you already have a finished design that you want to implement as accurately as possible. So you don't need me to make a design first. You want a custom-made product with 20 casts.

* Due to small business regulations, vat does not apply.

So is a custom-made product expensive in comparison?

From the example calculation you can see: This depends on the number of copies.

• A usual tin badge in the shop costs 7.90 EUR.

• With 20 copies, a custom-made tin badge will cost you 8.75 EUR. This is not so much more than a usual badge in the shop.

• With 30 copies, each badge costs only 8.00 EUR.

How is your custom-made product created?

Everything starts with a very nice correspondence by e-mail, in which we discuss what exactly you need, how and in what time frame we can implement it. Usually we find a common way quite quickly.

If we find something that suits you, I usually take the first steps with confidence and make rough view copies of designs or models - because in the end it is about you feeling comfortable and you feel that we will come to a good result together. After all, that's the most important thing in the end. So we are talking about whether we are on a right, common path.

If so, you make the order. As soon as the order and payment are received, I work out the details and start production.

You are there in all steps with photos and can thus influence.
